As we continue to get ready for a new school year, please take a moment to read and discuss with your child(ren) the attached reminder regarding the use of cellphones at all YCDSB elementary schools. This is a province wide initiative as a result of PPM 128 introduced by the Government of Ontario that will continue to be implemented in YCDSB schools.

During the summer months, school bus routes are reviewed and updated. Please check the “Find Your Bus Stop” on the STSYR website after August 30, 2026 to confirm your child’s transportation for September.
The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) has released its 2026-27 budget, which focuses on putting students first and starting the process of returning the board to financial stability.
This budget takes a measured approach to addressing the YCDSB’s deficit. There are several small operational adjustments that respond to declining enrolment and the current needs in our classrooms.
