As we continue to get ready for a new school year, please take a moment to read and discuss with your child(ren) the attached reminder regarding the use of cellphones at all YCDSB elementary schools. This is a province wide initiative as a result of PPM 128 introduced by the Government of Ontario.
Transitions such as resuming school activities after a break can be challenging for some students. The following return to school tip sheet can help parents support and uplift students through times of change. Hopefully these tips will empower students and parents alike to welcome a return to school and smoothly adjust to the changes in routines that back to school time brings.

During the summer months, school bus routes are reviewed and updated. Please check the “Find Your Bus Stop” on the STSYR website after August 20, 2025 to confirm your child’s transportation for September.
